An intumescent fire hood for use with low voltage MR16 and mains voltage GU10 downlights to comply with British Standards and Building regulations.This fire hood meets BS476 standards.



With the increased use of downlights in ceilings,the integrity of the plasterboard and suspended ceilings is greatly reduced. Intumescent downlight covers restore the integrity required by British Standards and building regulations.

The downlight covers can be easily installed from below or above the ceiling and are certified to British Standards for all types of ceiling.

This item can be used with most of our MR16 or GU10 downlights.

  • Dims:Height 150mm, Dia 150mm, Overall Dia 260mm, Minimum void 165mm
  • Meets BS476 standards, 60 minute rated
