The ever popular Nightsearcher Megastar floodlight is now available in a 230 volts mains version. This is ideal for indoor applications such as photography or outdoor portable floodlighting applications where mains power is available such as sports training.The floodlight head houses 4 x 36 Watt low energy fluorescent lamps, these have a total light output higher than a 500 watt Tungsten Halogen floodlight. A bright, clear white light is produced from the lamps, which have an expected life of over 8,000 hours. A high/low switch on the floodlight head will enable all 4 lamps to run at full output (11,600 lumen's) or 2 lamps to run at 50% output (5,800 lumen's). A sturdy metal tripod is supplied, which is height adjustable to 3.5 metres.

1 unit indoors will illuminate an area 40 x 40 metres to a usable light level.

6 units outdoors will illuminate an area 60 x 40 metres to a sports training light level
