This weatherproof floodlight is made from tough vandal resistant die cast aluminium. The fitting has a asymmetrical reflector for an anti light pollution distribution, making this ideal for use in sports grounds where a bright light is required without the glare other floodlights may give.

A typical ménage of 40m x 20m requires 8 of these mounted at 10 metres to meet the requirements of CIBSE LG4 for training, which is a level of 100 lux average with 50% uniformity.It is not recommended to use soduim(SON) lighting for equestrian use due to the yellow/orange colour given off by these lights which horses have difficulty seeing in.
