By combining a standard PIR floodlight with a retro fit low energy lamp SCL Direct can offer a low energy floodlight at a very competitive price. The specially designed lamp has a light out out equivalent to a 150 watt halogen lamp whilst only using 24 watts for the lamp with an overall power consumption whilst illuminated of 24 watts. The lamp has an expected lamp life of 8,000 hours lasting 4 times longer than a standard tungsten halogen lamp.
