Outdoor PIR Security Floodlight with CCTV Camera

Here at SCL Direct we often get asked for products that are a little outside our normal range of outdoor security lights and floodlights. A popular request was for a outdoor PIR security light with a CCTV camera, not to let customers down and lose a sale! The challenge was on!

I decided to have a look around for a reliable product from a reputable company.  In my many years on the trade counters at electrical wholesalers, one manufacturer of domestic and commercial CCTV systems that was always popular with end users and electrical contractors was products from ESP (Electronics Line UK Ltd).

In a matter of minutes of looking at the ESP range I had found the Guardcam. This product fitted the bill perfect. The Guardcam is a PIR security floodlight with a built in camera that upon activation will either take a succession of digital images or record a sort video of the event. An internal 2GB memory card will store these pictures or video, which can be later downloaded to a computer.

The icing on the cake for me with this product was that the GuardCam has the option to deliver one of three messages upon activation.”Warning you are trespassing”, “Warning you are being captured on video” and finally my favorite, a barking dog (more effective than you may think). There’s also the option to have no voice alert.

The Guardcam is usually in stock for next working day delivery, if ordered before 2pm.
